Then, twenty.. and NOW, WE HAVEN´T GOT SPACE FOR MORE PHOTOS!! I really like this initiative, the wall is very cool! And here, I leave the pictures of my contributions:
Breaking myths? What is that? In this post, my mission is to show you that sport is not just for men, since women are also there. Thanks to them, the sports are enhanced and we are countries known in the sports world as they are the winners of many awards, records and Championships. As a consequence, I would like to break myths about women, in this case, in crossfit. Many are those who practice this activity and in many cases, they are amazing. Let's start!!! 1. The first video that I saw was about a girl with 17 years- old and I gasped. In the video, the girl is training and she does several exercises. Highlights of this great athlete its precision, the perfect execution of their movements, its ability to lift so much weight After watching this video, I wonder: crossfit is really only for men? and... Is crossfit really only for adults? Here´s the answer:
Now, I'd like to you see the interview with Annie ThorisDottir,a great sportswoman, the Crossfit Games champion and named twice fittest woman on Earth. I was delighted to read her answers and her advices
Annie talks about training women in crossfit, the differences between being thin and toned, constancy to achieve our objectives...
Once again, I show that crossfit is also a thing of women. Women who succeed, that stand out, that mark the course of sport :-)
Why when we see a woman with worked and muscular body we say that it has a man's body?
As always, false prototypes of the society.
I can say out loud that I love bodies "" "man" "" in a woman. I love them.
Here, I give my opinion and think that there is no difference between a male body with muscles and a female body with muscles. Both sexes have worked tehir body and that is their result.
It is true that it is more common to see "musculitos" but... why? The answer is clear. Unfortunately, the woman began in the sport after the men and perhaps for this reason, it is rare.
For me, is just a perfect excuse for closed minds.
Although her sport is not crossfit, I has always liked the swimmer Mireia Belmonte.
I know about her that, at the beginning, when his coach told her that she had had to change physically, she refused. But she did it and now and she is proud of her body. She looks in the mirror and she loves it.
To sum up, I would say that see those videos and read pages helped me to clarify my ideas, learn more and of course to give importance to women in sport since it´s necessary.
Tests, tests and more tests... I need to end now! Disconnect from so many notes, I always like to be with my family, playing the clarinet, and this year... SPORT! I'm not used to running, so, for me, 1km is fantastic :-) But, I have to admit that I started doing 2 or 3 kilometers, and now I do more than 10, slowly and with the company of my father : -)
I'm looking for in the pages of sport to advise on clothing, footwear and accessories as they may useful for you to physical education and suddenly in store "Reebok" I see a link that is related only for crossfit! I love it! Since we are talking about this sport shop, I have left some links so that you can see something that interests you want to look something. I know that the price is generally expensive, but as a gift for your birthday, your holy... or maybe for your anniversary ;-) Here you are:
Last Sunday was a very stressful day because of the exams of this week. However, tallking with my friend María we said : "Why don't we take the bike and we go to the field?" And, we did it!
We took our bikes and we went to the field to "La Minguilla" a famous road to walk, to run etc.
The temperature was great and the best thing is to go riding with the air in the face :-)
Althought, now, we have stiffness we enjoyed a lot. As a consequence, we are going to repeat soon!
The kilometres have been donated and I am very happy by this action. Take a look at the video ;-)
Hi! I´m here again to show you some trainings of the last week. The first one was EMOM last 12 minutes and formed by three exercises: - First exercise:moving ---- 10 repetitions - Second exercise: face up/down ----7 repetitions - Third exercise: global ----5 repetitions
We had the opportunity to choose our own exercises, so I chose: "rope jump" , "mountain climbers" and "sumo squats". I got to do six rounds :-) #littlebylittle
Here you are the video of this WOD :
The second training was very hard, but I managed to finish it. I always like to train with a partner as the mood we can give is very important to follow and always... MOTIVATING MUSIC!
In this WOD, there were four exercises and we had to do ten repetitions during five rounds.
I did it in 12 minutes and 40 seconds and most important thing... I enjoy much!
I'm here again! We continue with our project and we love more every day :-) I haven´t had much time to write a post last week beacuse of my exams... Please, MORE FREE TIME, MORE SPORT AND LESS STUDIES!!! In this post, I´m writting the exercises that we did the last week and the WOD of today! Last day, our teacher was missing. Although with her advices all is easier, we trained in the best possible way! Here you have the name of the exercises : -TRICEPS DIPS, BROAD JUMPS AND SIT-UPS. This WOD lasted 18 minutes and we did 5 repetitions each exercise (15 total) and wait a minute before starting the next round.
And as the rhythm can not stop, today... HARD WOD! It is called "Decendent ladder". This training is formed by four exercises and there are 12 rounds. Consists in repeating the exercise starting by the biggest number of repetitions and descend to the round number 1. The objective is to do faster in each round. Nevertheless, our teacher advise us to do them at our pace but with a good technique :-)
I hope you enjoy watching my videos! My classmate and I are doing a big effort to achieve our goals! Well, the thing that really matters is the effort ...I FEEL FANTASTIC WORKING OUT!
